"It' Spooky to Be Hungry Food Drive" Its a grass roots, all volunteer neighbor to neigbor food drive which takes place throughout October, primarely on or around the 4th weekend in October. This is a National Program that several neighborhoods in Summerville have been participating in then donating all the canned goods and non-perishable items to Palmetto House. Gahagan, Gahagan East & Legend Oaks will be holding this years event on Sunday 10/29/2006 5:00-7:00. For more information visit www.spookytobehungry.org

Saturday November 11 is the start of National Homeless Week. this is when we kick off with our Annual Gala at the Summerhouse. We will end National Homeless Week with the "Help the Hungry Benefit Run" being held again for its third year at Nightmare Custom Cycles at 2912 W. 5th North Street Summerville SC 29483 For more info to ride contact Nightmare at 832-2897.
