What is Yoga?
Yoga is an ancient discipline that brings fitness and relaxation to the body and mind. Hatha yoga is a versatile blend of physical poses (asana) and breath that develops strength, better posture, and flexibility. Yoga is an affirming, non-competitive system to energize and renew the whole self.

Class Descriptions:
  • Foundations: An ongoing 1.5 hour class that introduces and builds on the fundamentals of poses, breath, flow sequence and deep relaxation.
  • Novice: Ideal for those who have acheived basic understanding with poses and are incorporating more vinyasa/flow continuing to build strength and flexibility.
  • Intermediate: Deepens basic poses (asana) with emphasis on developing stamina with introduction of some more advanced poses, meditation and breath work (pranayama).
  • Advanced: Building on a broader knowledge of poses, incorporating more subtle aspects of alignment and breathwork. Classes incorporate advanced poses with a vigorous vinyasa flow.
  • Open: Allows individuals to modify their practice between Novice and Intermediate levels. Basic familiarity with poses and sun salutations is suggested.
  • Gentle: Emphasizes gentle stretches increasing flexibility, deepening breath work and relieving physical and mental stressors. Open to all including beginners.
  • Kids Yoga: A fun, spirited class designed specifically for the interests and needs of children ages 5 to 13.
  • Yoga4Men: A men's only yoga class taught by a male instructor designed around the specific abilities and needs of men. Previous yoga experience not required.
  • Pilates Mat: Innovative Pilates mat class designed to lengthen and tone th emuscles while burning fat, with emphasis on the core.
  • Meditation: 30 Minutes. An ecumenical gathering of silent reflection. Beginners Welcome! FREE
  • NIA: A combination of modern dance, martial arts, yoga and integrative movements. An exciting way of moving into fitness. A fun filled high-energy program.

  • All yoga classes are 90 minutes.
